Camp Erin!

Katie and I clearly cannot get enough hangout time in.....so, we decided to spend a weekend this summer at Camp Wooten as Cabin Big Buddies for Camp Erin!

What is Camp Erin you say?

This link will tell you!

"Camp Erin, created and funded by the Moyer Foundation is the largest nationwide network of free bereavement camps for children and teens ages 6-17 who have experienced the death of someone close to them"

Here is some pics from our time there:

I have no idea what's going on with my face in this one BUT Katie and Brock look good! Ha!

Katie and I had never been a part of Camp Erin before and had no idea what to expect from our time there and.....well....it was certainly a jam packed weekend! We came home late Sunday night dirty, possibly a little (a lot) stinky but most definitely excited to come back next year!

You see, Katie and I are co-administrators for a bereavement group through Warm Springs Counseling Center. Touchstone; The Center for Grieving Children and Adolescents {More Info}. Which was founded here in Idaho in 1989. In 2008 it was moved to Warm Springs, which is actually how I (Stacey) got started working with the organization! Through our work with TS we got in touch with persons at Camp Erin and it was a great fit!

If you are working with a client and are interested in referring them to Touchstone OR if you are interested in volunteering, please feel free to email us!
