Ah, brings me back!

A big high five to anyone who knows or remembers what these are called!

Even without the name of these, it still brings back some memories.  This guy has some self-control triggers, and coping skills on them.

1. If you can't recall how to make these guys, start by making sure you have a perfectly square sheet of paper.

2. Next fold corners into the center.

3. Flip it over and do the same.

4. Label the outside with numbers, then include triggers, emotions, etc.

5.  Open it and on the inside of the corners, label with coping skills.

6. Move and flip through according to the number chosen, then open up to see which coping skill to use.

  1. Hi! I just found your blog and wanted to tell you I think all of your ideas and interventions are fabulous. I do very similar work, but in MA it is either social work or mental health counseling. It's interesting how there are different names and titles for the social-emotional work out there. Anyway, thank you for all the inspiration, I really connect with your perspectives. Thanks!
