You are super!

In working with a teacher to help an impulsive kiddo in the classroom, these behavior cards were what I was able to come up with.
The biggest challenge was to keep as simple and easy as possible for those over-worked teachers we all know!
This concept is also meant to give the behaviors as little attention as possible to avoid attention seeking behaviors in the classroom.  Basically, depending on her behavior, my client would occasionally- throughout the day receive a card, some were to reinforce positive choices, and some meant to redirect.

Here are the cards levels we came up with, and a gist of the note written on the back:
Super: You are super, keep it up!
Sunny:  Doing great, but remember to listen and stay focused so you can get a super card!
Stormy:  Uh oh!  Try (these) coping skills to stay focused and on track!
Kraken:  You must be having a rough day, but you can still turn it around, try using breathing, or asking for help to calm down!

Obviously these can be used at home, or in session, but have been working well to help this client, but she is also a little more aware of her day.  Try it out!
