Gettin' Crafty Up In Here!

You have tissue paper right? You at least have construction paper (If you are like me you have nothing but black and brown sheets left--time to make a trip to the dollar store!).

Now, go get some Mod Podge (or Elmers glue) and a cheapy canvas/canvas board. We are going to make some art!

Start by brainstorming colors associated with various emotions (pink=love, etc). Then provide them with the materials listed above and have them create a work of art that 'colors' their emotions. Have some emotion word cut out and have them pick which words they would like to 'create.' Let them go and do whatever they want...they can cut shapes, or just go abstract--let them flow all their own! Glue down the paper onto the canvas using the Mod Podge (or glue) and put a layer over the top of the finished product (to set it). Beautiful!
