Dedicated to the teachers, therapists, school counselors, parents; to all those in the trenches working with kids and don't have a clue what to do!
Lost!? No worries, you are not alone! This is a site for the unique, for the creative, for the patient, and most of all for the confused. Two CBRS workers (formally PSR) who have been through those same trenches want to help!

This is a fun one to teach friendship and cooperation skills. This is a great group activity too! Or with siblings--I've done that in the past and we will set up the course through a playground--super awesome!
All you need is a jump rope (or any rope you might have)
And an obstacle course! (we built one in the library 'cause it's getting wintery out there folks!)
There are lots of cute books you can read to start the activity:
After reading brainstorm with your client about traits in a friend. Now direct them to the course. The challenge here is both participated must complete the course, together, holding the rope. If one drops their end, they have to start all over!
This is great to teach communication, cooperation as well as patience. Of course everyone loves a good ole competition too!
