PSR survival kit

Basically this is a bag I take whenever (and wherever) I am working with a client. I take this with me regardless of what I plan to work on that day.  This job can be unpredictable, so be prepared! My kit is full of possible activities and games meant to redirect, fight boredom, on the spot ideas and as a back up for teachable moments.  This bag-o-fun has saved me many times, and I recommend highly that everyone build up their own survival kit.

My kit includes:

construction paper
worksheets
journal
coloring pages/mandalas
magazines for collaging
mod podge
paint
paint brushes
markers
journal sticks
travel games (Battle Ship, Apples To Apples, Go Fish, Would You Rather)
cards
scissors
crayons
play-dough
bubbles
balloons
glue
practice cards (has a different coping skill to practice on each card)
beads
string
chalk
books
stickers

There are a lot more possibilities, and we would love to hear and try different survival kit ideas.  Build up your own kit, and let us know what you put in it!
