Emotions Rock Garden

Paint or color your emotions rocks different colors that represent each emotion they choose. Support this activity with a feelings book!

Label your emotions rocks using words, pictures, faces. Then using chalk, markers, stickers, crayons, or whatever can help them recognize each emotion.

Get colorful and creative!

Then help your client name an example of when they have felt each emotion, and don't forget possible coping skills practice! Help them find a place for their emotions rocks, keeping their feelings safe!

This activity can be done several times, using different and more complicated emotions.

Rock on!
